

Vivian A. Fogarty (née Vincenza Fucarino) of Hillsdale passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Fogarty with whom she shared 55 years of love and cherished memories.
Vivian was the devoted mother of Richard Fogarty and his wife, Laura; Joanne Koppers and her husband, Thomas; and Lynne Garay and her husband, David. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren, James, Jillian, Jennifer, Michelle, Megan and Michael. She enjoyed sports, especially cheering for her NY Yankees and NY Giants. She took great pride in her family and cherished the time spent with them, they were her life. Vivian also leaves behind her loving nieces and nephews. She was full of life and thought of everyone else before herself.
Before retiring, Vivian was a dedicated associate at Macy’s for 28 years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church.
Vivian was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, New York and grew up with family all around her. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, sense of humor, and the deep love she had for her family. She was full of life and thought of everyone else before herself, she will be greatly missed.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Sunday, March 29th at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood from 2 - 5pm. A mass celebrating Vivian's life and faith will be held on Monday, March, 30th at 10 am, St. John the Baptist Church, Hillsdale. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, New Jersey.
