

Angela (Colangelo) Lalama, 89, of Wethersfield, devoted and loving wife of the late Attilio Lalama for 60 years, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 21, 2015 with her family by her side. Born on September 3, 1925 in Pacentro province of L’Aquila, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Maria (Lepore) Colangelo. Angela retired as an inspector at Colt Industries in West Hartford. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family. Angela is survived by her sons, Carmine Lalama and his wife Roberta of Plainville, Remo Lalama and his wife Anna Maria of Glastonbury and John Lalama and his wife MariAnne of Wethersfield; her sisters, Rosina Carrabbia and her husband Tonino of Wethersfield and Amelia Ramunno and her husband Denio of Wethersfield; her sister-in-law Filomena Colangelo of Wethersfield; her loving grandchildren, David, Lori, Jennifer, Angela and Brian; and her adored great grandchildren, Owen, Eli, Liza and Andrew. Angela was predeceased by her brother Frank Colangelo and her grandson Paul. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday (February 24) from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
