Angela M. Pinto

Angela M. Pinto, 85, of West Hartford died May 3, 2007 in West Hartford. Born in Hartford on June 24, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Mary (DeLucca) Pinto and was a lifelong resident of Greater Hartford. She retired after 50 years of dedicated service from The Travelers Insurance Co. where she served in the purchasing department. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and had a passion for crossword puzzles. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Nicolino and Marie D'Occhio of Farmington, Anthony and Janice Parrotta of Hartford, Joseph and Kathleen Solazzo of Manchester, Theodore and Phyllis Pinto of Glastonbury, Mary Solazzo and Peter Wlochowski of Glastonbury, William Pinto of Rocky Hill and Robert Pinto and Andrea Pinto of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, seventeen grand nieces and grand nephews and ten great great nieces and great great nephews. She was predeceased by all of her seven siblings and two nieces. The family is grateful to the nurses, nurse's aides and hospice assistants at St. Mary's Home (Fitzgerald Unit) for their compassion and care. The funeral is Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 467 South Quaker La., West Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
