My sincere condolences to Tony's family. Tony was an outstanding member of the Mt. Laurel Ski Club and for many years he worked on the ski club Lobster Cookout. I skied with Tony in the French Alps many years ago. Such a fun trip. Since that time he has joined "Mac" (Frank McAuliffe) and Charlotte Chardonet. It was a great trip until Tony broke his ski binding and we had to ski miles on cat walks to get back to our hotel ... Tony could not lift his ski up or the binding  would detach from ski. There were only 7 of us on that trip and we had such a good time ... Yes, Tony was singing or whistling as he skied behind me on EVERY trail. The Ski Club had their annual banquet 5/3/25, last night and Tony's picture was included in the IN Memory of page and I presented information on him so the newer members could appreciate him and the time he was a member of the ski club. I enjoyed the numerous times Tony sang during the 15 years I served as GHOE's piano accompanist.  The audiences cheered after each of his countless performances; the ladies especially enjoyed the warmth of his bass voice.  Their reception always brought a smile both to him and to my heart.  In his kind manner, he always acknowledged the accompanist.  Thanks, Tony, for sharing your gifts.  You are missed.

So sad to hear about Tony’s passing.  Tony was one of a kind!!  He was  one the first people to welcome me to Connecticut  Opera chorus and our friend ship continued through many many   years  singing together in the Greater Hartford Opera.   I am sure  with his  deep bass voice he is singing… “Well Marg, I finally made it… so glad to see you!”.    Tony was so kind and caring towards everyone he met.  He made a lasting impression on us all.  God bless you Tony and may you rest in heavenly peace…..

It is difficult to loose a parent at any age, but  your Dad will always be near you ,  in your heart and fond  memories…..

What a loss! I also knew Tony from his singing days with the Greater Hartford Opera Ensemble. He was always full of life and personality.

We will be thinking of him when we sing again this summer, and he will always remain a treasured memory for those of us who knew him.

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. As a fellow bass/baritone for GHOE, I received many repertoire suggestions from Tony. It was a pleasure singing with a man who loved opera as much as he did.

I only just heard about Tony Mirabelli's death and am writing to express profound regrets. Tony was a stalwart participant in the Greater Hartford Opera Ensemble, a group which performed opera and opera excerpts for Retirement Communities, Nursing Homes, and other community groups. A veteran of the Connecticut Opera chorus, Tony was a welcome participant in GHOE's opera choruses. And who will forget Tony's solo rendition of "Some Enchanting Evening" and other bass specialties ? He interacted beautifully with GHOE members - and also  with their children! We will all miss Tony very much.

I met Tony at the gym in Rocky Hill.  He was always there socializing and working out (of course).  I loved Tony's stories.  I loved Tony's spirit.  Tony I hope you are hitting all the high notes in Heaven:)

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of your dad.  My mom loved your parents so much it was tough for my mom when your mother passed she always talked about Margie then she worried about your dad.  I would run into your dad from time to time at the community center in town he always had a smile on his face what a lovely man.  It's so hard loosing your parents but now they are reunited with each other.  My sincere condolences to you both!  I hold many memories of both your mom and dad.

I also met and became friends with Tony at the fitness center.  He was such a nice man and had many friends there. He will be missed by many. God bless you Tony.

Mr. Tony would come to the Pitkin Community Center for the senior lunches and always stopped into the TLC Preschool program to see the children.  He really enjoyed watching and talking with them.  He was always a sharp dresser, loved to talk about his late wife and was such a sweet, wonderful man who will be missed.  My sincere condolences to the family.

I have been a friend of Tony’s for many years. I met him at the Tennis Center and he became part of a group of fitness friends that continued for 20 years.  He will be missed. Rest in peace Tony ❤️🙏🏻
