

Antoinette (Franco) Corso, 96, of Wethersfield and formerly of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Philip R. Corso, passed away Wednesday (May 23, 2012). She was born April 11, 1916 in Hartford, the daughter of the late John and Giovannina (Romalo) Franco. Antoinette was a member of the Italian American Society and the Mt. Carmel - St. Cristina Society of East Hartford. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed playing games and loved to cook. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Antoinette is survived by two sons Charles Corso and his wife Rae Ann of Hebron; John Corso and his wife Tina Marie of Cromwell, a daughter Barbara Corso of Wethersfield; four grandchildren, Christopher Corso of Manchester, Justin Corso and his wife Carrie of Coventry, Trisha Couto and her husband Rick of Wethersfield and Nicholas Corso of Wethersfield; four great grandchildren, Sierra Corso, Dominic Corso, Anthony Corso and Mason Couto as well as many close nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Philip R. Corso Jr.; and three sisters Olga Cornelio, Angeline Natale, and Theresa Calvo.
Funeral services will leave Friday May 25th at 10:45 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are TODAY from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
