Antonio “Tony” Natale, 79, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 52 years of Maria (Scalise) Natale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025 with his family by his side. Born on December 1, 1946 in Pietramelara, province of Caserta, Italy, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Maria (Consiglia) Natale. Tony came to the U.S. in 1966. He was the owner of Tony’s Beauty Salon in Kensington for 34 years, where his clients became lifelong friends. As his sons grew, he never missed supporting them at their soccer games. Tony enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. More than anything, he cherished spending time with family, especially his granddaughters.
In addition to his devoted wife Maria, Tony will be forever missed by his two sons, John Natale and partner Alicia Kennedy of Wethersfield and Frank Natale and wife Karen of Guilford and his two adored granddaughters, Gianna and Alyssa Natale. He is also survived by his brother, Giuseppe Natale and wife Teresa of Italy; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Natale and Rose Ingenito, as well as many extended family members. In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by two brothers, Rocco and Luigi Natale and his sister, Madalena Natale.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
