

Arline May (Rossini) Nogas, 75, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Edmund Nogas, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 13, 1932 in Hartford, the daughter of the late August and Adele (Gili) Rossini. She was a graduate of Wethersfield High School. Arline devoted her life to raising her family. She was a loving wife and mother. She also served as a volunteer at Newington Children?s Hospital. She loved listening to music, playing the piano and attending productions at The Bushnell. Arline also enjoyed ice skating. Arline was very compassionate and a good listener to everyone. She was known to make a great spaghetti sauce. Besides her husband Ed, Arline is survived by her children: Catherine and her husband Marvin Steinberg of Guilford, Jeffrey P. Nogas of Glastonbury, Michael A. Nogas and his wife Nancy of Glastonbury, and Susan Nogas and her husband David Godwin of Arlington, VA; her beloved grandchildren Aaron Steinberg and Michelle and Matthew Nogas, her sister and brother-in-law, Nell and Carm Brutto of Enfield, her brother and sister-in-law, John and Carol Rossini of East Windsor, a brother-in-law Al Sheehan of South Dennis, MA, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lydia Sheehan and her brother and sister-in-law James and Margaret ?Peg? Rossini. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 11:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Ave., Wethersfield. The family asks everyone to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield.
