Barbara Ann Fitzsimmons, 88, of Wethersfield, beloved daughter of God, entered eternal life on August 14, 2025. She was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Caperino) Fitzsimmons and sister of Thomas (Ann) and twin sister Beverly Riccio. Barbara lived a prayerful life devoted to God. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and brother-in-law Anthony Riccio. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 27 at 10am at Christ the King Parish, Corpus Christi Church 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Civita Care Center in Newington for their exceptional service and care. Donations in Barbara's memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choosing. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with Barbara’s arrangements.
