Beverly A. (Lane) Pietrandrea, 78, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 38 years of Louis Pietrandrea, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Middletown on June 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel (Maly) Lane. Bev worked for many years in the banking industry and then worked for the Chief State’s Attorney Office until her retirement. Bev was a supporter of many charities, especially Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and was happiest when they were all together.
In addition to her devoted husband Lou, Bev will be forever missed by her three daughters, Laura Jay of Wallingford, Lisa Jay of Rocky Hill and Trish Scalora and husband Joseph of Wethersfield and her two adored granddaughters, Bryanna and Alyssa Scalora, both of Wethersfield. She is also survived by several extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Bev was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Mark Pietrandrea and wife Ellen and Al Pietrandrea and wife Carole. The family would like to thank the staff at Hartford Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Bev during her stay.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 10 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 12 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
