'>Carmella ""Millie"" (Mazzarella) Bellantoni, 78, of East Hartford, beloved wife of Frank P. Bellantoni died Saturday (August 13, 2005) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Port Chester, NY she was the daughter of the late James and Salvatrice (Prince) Mazzarella and lived in East Hartford for over 40 years. She retired in from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 24 yr. of service and had previously been employed by Veeder-Root Co. She volunteered for many years at the Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, was a member of the St. Rose's Church Women's' Guild and was a former President of the AARP in East Hartford. She was very active in senior's rights in East Hartford. Besides her husband she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Angela Bellantoni of Newington; his daughter, Susan Mendes of East Hartford; his grandsons; Charles Willard and his wife Robyn, David Willard and his wife Alicia; step-grandchildren, Niki Sheppard and her husband Adam and Ryan Hart and his wife Jennifer; step-great grandchildren, A.J. and Annalouise Sheppard; her brothers, Tony Mazzarella of Phoenix, AZ, and Vinnie Mazzarella of Rocky Hill; five sisters; Connie Chila of Port Chester, NY, Mary Leone, Sarah Conforto and Marge Gondolfo all of Rocky Hill and Angie Piacentini of Wethersfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; Ernest, Thomas and Joseph. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Rose's Church, East Hartford. Burial will be in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Wethersfield.
