Carol A. Gilbert, 77, of Wethersfield, began her journey to Heaven on October 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her daughter, Coradina Petrolito. She is survived by six children, Agnes Puglisi, Paul Petrolito, Joseph Petrolito, Sebastian Petrolito, Gerald Petrolito and Carol Petrolito; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Carol was born on November 12, 1937 in Hartford, where she spent the majority of her life. She owned a successful restaurant, Carol’s Kitchen, in Morrisville, VT for many years. She dedicated her life to her family and the Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone who encountered her warm caring soul was guaranteed to love her. Our mother was truly an angel living on earth. “We love you with all our heart and soul.”
Calling hours will be Wednesday (October 21) from 4-7 p.m. with a service at 6 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
