Edward was born in Middletown on January 29, 1928, son of the late Andrew and Mary (Zub) Kardas; husband to the late Frances (Holewa) Kardas. He was an engineer for Pratt & Whitney for 40 years before retiring in 1992.
Edward is survived by his two sons, James Kardas of Wethersfield and Peter Kardas and his wife Cheryl of Chicago, IL, and three grandchildren Michael, Elizabeth and Nicole.
Burial with Military honors will take place at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 9 at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
