
Enrico J. ""Rick"" Caruso, 83, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 58 yrs. of Marion (Pandolfe) Caruso passed away peacefully, Saturday, (December 24, 2005). He was born in Hartford son of the late Joseph and Rose (Langello) Caruso and had lived in the area all of his life. He was employed as a salesman for Kosher Best and Omar Coffee. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Newington UNICO. Rick's greatest pleasures were golfing, bowling, the New York Yankees the New York Giants and both the UCONN men and women's basketball teams. Besides his wife he leaves a son, John Caruso of Wethersfield; a daughter and son-in-law Joyce and David Fortin of Portland; a son-in-law Leslie Hinckley of Windsor Locks; six grandchildren, Leslie, Steven, and Kara Hinckley, Justin and Brett Caruso, Craig Fortin; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Colin and Allen Hinckley; brothers, Albert, Anthony and Ernest Caruso all of Bloomfield, Benedict Caruso of Cromwell, Joseph Caruso of Bridgewater and a sister, Lillian Penefield of New Hartford. He was predeceased by two daughters, Susan Hinckley and Jean Caruso; brothers, John, Frank, Nicholas and Pasquale and a sister Frances Williams. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 28, at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield.
