

Felice 'Domenic' Cappellucci, 86, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband of Ida (DeNovellis) Cappellucci for 52 years, died peacefully on Saturday, (December 12, 2009) at home. He was born May 28, 1923, in Caramanico, Terme, Italy and was the son of the late Pasquale and Lucia (D'Atri) Cappellucci. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Taylor and Fenn Manufacturing. Domenic enjoyed gardening and going for long walks. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Bruno and his wife Filomena and their son, Michael, all of Rocky Hill; his daughter, Donatina Amadeo and her husband John and their children, Nikko, Marco, Nicole, Anthony, Jimmy and their grandchild, Christan, all of Middletown; sister, Elena Valentino and her husband Ernesto, sister-in-law Nunzia Cappellucci, both of Italy and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Salvatore, Antonio and Felice and three sisters Assunta, Vincenza and Anna. A very special thank you to nurses Donna, Josefine, Dania, and Paulette for the love, devotion, support and exceptional care shown to Domenic and his family. Funeral services will leave Wednesday, December 16, at 8:45 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
