Fiore DiNino

Fiore DiNino, 83, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Lina (Buccilli) DiNino for 62 years, passed away peacefully Friday (November 8, 2013) at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side. He was born February 27, 1930 in Pratola Peligna, province of L’Aquila, Italy and was the son of the late Donato and Lucia (Lucente) DiNino. He served in the Italian Army. Fiore was a mason and also worked for 25 years for the State of Connecticut. He was a member of the Pratolana M.B. Society and Canicattinese Society, both in Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Luciano DiNino and wife Nancy of Berlin and daughter, Nadia Marra and husband Anthony of Wethersfield; grandchildren, Lina Lucia Marra and Marc and Daniela DiNino; two sisters, Elisa Iacobucci of Wethersfield and Silvia Vitale and husband Bruno of Erie, PA. He was predeceased by two brothers, Vittorio and Enio DiNino and a sister, Iola DeAngelis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton St., Hartford. Please go directly to the church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. There are no calling hours. For online expressions of sympathy to the family, please visit www.desopo.com.
