Gina Cianfaglione

Gina (DeLoreto) Cianfaglione, of Hartford, beloved wife for over 80 years of the late Gaetano Cianfaglione, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the age of 100. Born on January 28, 1918 in Pratola Peligna, province of L’Aquila, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Giuseppa DeLoreto. She worked for many years at Carling Electric. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gina will be forever missed by her three children. Urderico “Ric” Cianfaglione, Pelino “Paul” Cianfaglione and wife Jeanne and Delia Gioioso; eight adored grandchildren, Melissa and husband Donald, Mark and wife Crista, Rick and wife Amy, Sonia and husband Corey, Paul and wife Jennifer, Daniella, Tiziana and David and eight cherished great-grandchildren, Samson, Lilly, Mchaley, Evelina, Robert James, Matthew, Katie and Emily. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members, both in the U.S. and in Italy. She was predeceased by her brother, Edmondo DeLoreto; sister, Aquilina DeLoreto; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cianfaglione and son-in-law, Aldo Gioioso.
