Giulia Gulino

Giulia Vox Gulino, 70, of Hartford, beloved wife of Gaetano ""Tom"" Gulino and mother of Vanessa Gulino, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with MS. Born on February 16, 1946 in Pratola Peligna, Abruzzo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Graziano and Assunta (Fiorilli) Vox. Giulia is survived by her brother-in-law, Giuseppe Gulino of New Britain, her sister-in-law, Rosalia Cianci of Newington and many nephews and nieces. Giulia was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Santo and Emanuela Gulino, brother-in-law, Giovani Cianci, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Santino and Maria Nucifora, and sister-in-law Santina Gulino. Giulia was a member of the Pratolana M. B. Society and enjoyed dancing and social gatherings with her family and friends as she lived life to the fullest. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford.
