Giuseppe Reali

Giuseppe Reali, 89, beloved husband to Concetta (Cianci) Reali, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Giuseppe was born in Canicattini Bagni, Province of Siracusa, Sicily, Italy and was son to the late Antonino and Lina (Liistro) Reali.

Giuseppe had been a parishioner of St. Luke’s Church and a member of the Italian American Stars Inc., Hartford. He enjoyed being with his family and grandkids, playing cards at the club, Sunday dinners, gardening and watching Inter Milan’s Soccer Games and he loved being a barber his entire life. He will be remembered for being a great husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his beloved wife Concetta, of 65 years, Giuseppe is also survived and will be missed by his three sons, Tony Reali (Rosanna Giuliani) of Wethersfield, Paul Reali of Hartford and Robert Reali of Hartford; his four sweet grandchildren; Daniela Reali, Dannea Elisa Reali O’Connell, Joseph Reali and Alexander Reali and his two precious great grandchildren; Joseph and Vincent.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday (March 26th) at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday (March 27th) at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
