Gloria Ann (Eldridge) Nucci

Gloria Ann (Eldridge) Nucci, 67, of Rocky Hill, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Howard D. Nucci. Gloria was born in Hartford, Connecticut on August 27, 1949, daughter of the late Lester and Antoinette (Sarli) Eldridge. She worked for SNET for thirty-seven years as a Customer Service Representative, where she later retired. She enjoyed spending the holidays with family, cooking for all (she was a great cook!) and going shopping with her daughter and grandkids. Her greatest accomplishment was being “Nana” to her grandchildren. She loved and cared for them more than life itself. She couldn’t wait to share stories about them to everyone she knew. Gloria is survived by her son Michael Nucci of Rocky Hill, her daughter Melissa Aresco and her husband Adam of Meriden, two brothers, Thomas Eldridge and his wife Carmen of Wethersfield and James Eldridge and his wife Michelle of Newington, a sister Patricia Eldridge of Hartford, sister-in-law Barbara Nucci of Newington and three grandchildren, Jackson, Brantley and Brooklyn Aresco. A funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, CT. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
