Gregory Keith Rannou

Gregory “Greg” Keith Rannou, 53, of Newington, beloved husband of Debra (D’Addario) Rannou, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2018 with his family by his side. Greg was born in Hartford and was the son of Ronald and Jeannine (Phenix) Rannou. Greg grew up working on cars, he graduated Technical Career Institute but always said he learned the most working alongside his father. He was the garage manager of Ron’s Auto Service of Newington where they worked together for many years. Greg was also a member of AA and the Porsche Club. In addition, he loved going camping and enjoying sitting around a campfire. In addition to his wife and parents, Greg leaves his brothers Robert Rannou of Newington, his sister Debra Rannou-McAdams and her fiancé Keith Gallicchio of Wethersfield. He also leaves his mother-in-law Shirley (Orffitteli) D’Addario, brothers-in-law Thomas D’Addario of Florida and Floyd D’Addario and his wife Gloria of Virginia. Greg was predeceased by his father-in-law Alfred D’Addario and sister-in-law Dayna along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will leave at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11th from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at the Annunciation Parish (Holy Spirit Church), 183 Church Street Newington. Burial will immediately follow at West Meadow Cemetery of Newington. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
