Joan Elaine Ragna

Joan Elaine Ragna was called home on August 29, 2018. She was a devout Catholic, dedicating her life to her Church and serving as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick St. Anthony Church in Hartford. Joan worked for more than 20 years and ultimately retired from the Southern New England Telephone Company as a customer service representative. Joan will be missed by her many friends and family members and especially all those who were in her church community, a place she called home. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Lena and Arthur Ragna, her sisters, Mary Georgini, Evelyn Bazzano Abraham and Gloria Ensign. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 14th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick St. Anthony Church, 285 Church Street, Hartford. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory can be made to: St. Anthony Bread for the Poor, c/o St. Patrick St. Anthony Church.
