Kenneth L. Carr

Kenneth L. Carr, 73, of Glastonbury, and formerly of Lima, OH, died peacefully, Thursday, (July 21, 2011) at Hartford Hospital. He was born January 22, 1938 in Lima, OH and was the son of the late George Byron Carr and Ann (Saine) Carr. Ken was a graduate of Bowling Green State University, OH. He was an Insurance Executive for many years at Life Insurance Research Management Association and later working for the Vernon Publishing Company, retiring 10 years ago. He loved the Arts and enjoyed his latest part time employment at the Wadsworth Antheneum Museum of Art in Hartford. Ken is survived by a sister, Karen Hayes and husband, Gary of Celina, OH; a nephew, Lt. Matthew Hays, US Navy and wife, Yuka and their children, Andy, Katie and Connor, a niece, Keila Stucky and her children, Carson and Carly, a niece, Shannon Hays as well as a host of dear and close friends who will always remember him.

Funeral and burial will be private; there will not be any calling hours. Donations in Ken's memory may be made to the Kenneth L.
