

Kimberly 'Kim' McGrath, 41, of Middletown, beloved mother of Alexa Rae Esposito, passed away on Wednesday, (November 18, 2009), after a courageous four month battle with cancer. She was born on December 18, 1967 in Hartford and graduated from North Haven High School. She worked for the Travelers Insurance Company. Her involvement with Stampin' Up allowed her to express her creativity and establish many long-lasting friendships. Besides her daughter Alexa, Kim is survived by her mother Judith 'Judy' (LaLiberte) Pascale of Middletown; her father David McGrath and Marilyn Hunter of Florence, MA; her step-father Albert A. Pascale of North Haven; her brother Brett McGrath and his wife Kimberly and their children, Olivia, Hannah, Finn and Jack of Wethersfield; her maternal grandparents Edmond and Doris LaLiberte of East Hartford; a step-brother Albert R. Pascale of Manchester as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves her former husband, John Esposito. Funeral will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 23 at D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a 10 a.m. service at the First Church of Christ, 250 Main Street, Wethersfield. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
