Margaret Peggy""Mary (Pentalow) Sarubbi

Margaret “Peggy” Mary (Pentalow) Sarubbi, 64, of Newington, passed away into internal life into the arms of her Savior, Jesus, on October 29, 2017 at Apple Rehab in Cromwell. Peggy was born in Hartford on February 23, 1953 to Shirley (Reid) Panella Pentalow and Harry W. Pentalow. After graduating from Newington High School, Class of ’72, Peggy attended cosmetology school and settled into Newington, the town she loved. She was an active giver of herself who always cared about and served others. Peggy lived a life full of joy, unconditional love for others and had a heart for making people laugh. She will be missed by all those she touched in her lifetime. Peggy is survived by her ex-husband, George Sarubbi; her two sons, Geoffrey Sarubbi of New York City and Philip Gleason of Jacksonville, FL, as well as a granddaughter, Alexis. Peggy also has four siblings; two sisters and two brothers: Kathleen Sturtevant and her husband, William of Port Orange, FL, James Pentalow and his wife, Susan of Deerfield Beach, FL, Patricia Cetran and her husband, James of Wethersfield, and Thomas Pentalow and his wife, Jacqueline of Wethersfield. She will be dearly missed by all her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 10th from 10-11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
