Marie G. Grenier

Marie G. Grenier, 80, of Wethersfield passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, (January 7, 2007). She was born April 16, 1926 in Arthabaska, Canada to the late Eugene and Eugenie Chainey. She moved to Connecticut in 1945 where she met her late husband Rosaire ""Joe"" Grenier. During her working career she was a school teacher as well as a clerical worker at Royal Typewriter and St. Francis Hospital but her heart was in her job as a mother. Marie is survived by sons Donald and his wife Karen, Michael and his wife Amelia and David and his wife Crystal. She also leaves behind two loving sisters Jacqueline Poisson and Solange LaPlante, a brother Jean-Marc Chainey, five grandchildren: Sara, Lauren, Danielle, Amy and Kyle and one great grandson, Jordan. Marie was predeceased by a son Mark E. Grenier. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
