

Mary E. Mangene, 84, entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2018. She was born in Everett, Massachusetts to the late Thomas and Marie (Boudreau) Marchant on November 20, 1933. Mary was a devoted wife to the late Jerrico L. Mangene for 48 years until his passing in 2003. She and her husband were Hartford residents for several years until recently moving to Bristol where she spent her final years. Mary dedicated her life to raising her seven beloved children, and when they were old enough, she went on to caring for other children as a Crossing Guard in Hartford. She loved flowers and will always be remembered for her infectious smile that brightened everyone’s day.
Mary will forever be remembered by her three daughters, Lynn of Farmington, Susan of Plainville and Joanne and her spouse David Cordero of Bristol; four sons, Paul of Plainville, Edward of West Hartford, Ronald of Plainville and James of Manchester; three adored grandchildren, Brittany and Joshua Cordero and David Mangene; a brother Thomas Marchant and his wife Beatrice of Everett, MA, and a sister Phyllis Drinkwater of Saugus, MA.
Calling hour will be Saturday, June 23, from 9 – 10 a.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave, Hartford. The burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
