Michael “Mike” John Carvalho, 55, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 4, 2025. He was the beloved father of Ashley Carvalho and her partner Louis Waterman and beloved partner of Bobbie Lynn Carlson.
Mike was born in Hartford on March 5, 1970 and grew up in Wethersfield. He was a lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins. Motorcycles, fishing, and old movies were some of his favorite pastimes. Mike will be remembered for his stories, his loyalty to those he loved, and for being the person you called at 3 a.m.
Besides his daughter and partner, he is survived by his mother, Leonor Carvalho of Wethersfield; his sister, Ann Fuini of Hebron and his brother, Steven Carvalho and his spouse, Stephen Santoro of Becket, MA. He is also survived by his niece, Emma Fuini of Boston, MA and his nephews, Evan Fuini and his fiancée Jenna Hansen of Boston, MA, Corey Armastus and his wife Merriah, of Becket, MA and Cody Armastus of Becket, MA. He will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mike loved his Grumpy role to Christian Corbin. He was predeceased by his father, Joao M. Carvalho.
