Michael Ciotto Sr.

Michael Angelo Ciotto Sr., of East Hartford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Hartford Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Hartford on April 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Biagio D. and Lucy (Curcio) Ciotto. Michael grew up and lived in the greater Hartford area his entire life. He was a 1974 Graduate of Bulkeley High School (Hartford) where he excelled in Basketball and Baseball. Since retirement he especially enjoyed being around his children and grandchildren. He would light up with pride, watching them play sports.

Michael is survived by his daughter Lindsey Ciotto, (fiancé Nick Siriani) of East Granby, sons Michael Ciotto Jr., (wife Ana) of Vernon and Ryan Ciotto of Bristol (partner Candace Webber). He will also be missed by his cherished grandchildren; Erick Solis, Jayden Castro Ciotto, Michael Ciotto III, Matteo Ciotto and Dante Siriani. In addition, Michael is survived by his siblings, Dominick Ciotto Sr. of Rocky Hill, Roseann Szmeiter (Richard) of Plainville, Sallyann Crane (Martin) of Plainville and Robert Ciotto (Jerrilyn) of Lebanon as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At the family’s request the Service and Burial will be private. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel of Wethersfield has been entrusted by the family with the arrangements.
