

Miroslaw “Mirek” Dabrowski, 57, of Manchester, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March, 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Teresa (Michnicki) Dabrowski for 32 years. He was born in Olowskie, Poland on April 26, 1957, the son of the late Teodor and Weronika (Drewnowska). He moved to the United States in 1982. He was a parishioner of S.S. Cyril & Methodius Church, Hartford. He was a member of the CT Carpenters Union, Local 43. Mirek was devoted to his family, loved God, his homeland Poland, woodworking and fishing. In addition to his devoted wife Teresa, Mirek is survived by his three wonderful children, Angelina and Alicja of Manchester, and Mark and his fiancée Melissa of Ottawa. He is also survived by his brother, Andrzej and his wife Zofia and daughters Asia and Dominika in Poland; his mother-in-law, Leontyna Michnicki of Wethersfield; his brother-in-law, Steve Michnicki and his wife Sue and son Gerek of Cromwell, and many cousins and friends, both here and in Poland. A heartfelt thank you to the Manchester first responders for their act of kindness toward our family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 55 Charter Oak Ave., Hartford, CT 06106. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford.
