

Morris 'Moe' Anthony SanGiacomo, 95, husband of the late Florence (Saccente) SanGiacomo, died Tuesday (March 31, 2009) at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Born and raised in the south end of Hartford, son of the late Ralph and Rose SanGiacomo, Moe lived in Wethersfield for more than 30 years prior to moving to Quincy, MA three years ago. He was employed by the Town of Wethersfield Board of Education for more than 30 years prior to his retirement in 1993 at age 79. Moe served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Moe leaves a cherished daughter, Patricia Saint James of Boston, MA; many nieces, nephews and in-laws in the SanGiacomo and Saccente and Melody families as well a close family friend, Susan Murray of Boston, MA. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Friday, 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
