

Norma (Tuccitto) McLeod, 73, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of the late James S. McLeod for 40 years, died peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at her home. She was born August 12, 1933 in Portland and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Michelina ?Peggy? (Gervasio) Tuccitto. Norma was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, Hartford. She was employed for many years at the former Charter Oak Bank, Goodwin Park Branch in the South End of Hartford and also was the bookkeeper for the former Marc Anthony?s on Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford. She was a member of and served as the treasurer of an italian club. She was a very active volunteer in the community. Norma was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees. She opened her home to everyone and always put other people before herself. Norma will be dearly missed by all of her close and dear friends and loving family. She is survived by her son Gregory James McLeod of Wethersfield and her daughter, Janice Malone of Rocky Hill, two loving grandchildren who Norma lived for, Bradley J. Malone and Trisha N. Malone both of Rocky Hill, her sister, Dolores Milliot, her niece and nephew, Kathryn Orazecz and George Milliot all of Florida. A very special thank you to and may the light shine upon, Kevin and Lorraine Cahill, Frances Steele and the staff at Bliss 5 East at Hartford Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday (January 8) at 9:00 AM from the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, Rocky Hill. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel.
