

Nunzia (DeNapoli) Rizzo, 100, of Wethersfield, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Ellis Manor, Hartford with her loving and devoted family at her bedside. She was born December 17, 1907 in Chiusano San Domenico, province of Avellino, Italy and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Maria (Zaccheo) DeNapoli. She lived in Wethersfield since 1965. She was predeceased by her husband, Enrico Rizzo. Nunzia was the loving and devoted mother of five children, Raffaele ?Ralph? Rizzo and Enrico Rizzo both of Wethersfield, Amelia Pagliuca of Hartford, Generoso ?Joe? Rizzo and his wife, Sandra of Wethersfield and Carmine Rizzo and his wife, Angela of Hartford three grandchildren, Vincenzo ?Vinnie? Pagliuca and his wife, Adriana of Berlin, Nancy Lamore and her husband, Michael of Newington and Ricky Rizzo and his wife, Christina of Glastonbury, two great grandchildren, Elisia and Vincenzo Pagliuca as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carmela Reppucci and three brothers, Michael, Angelo and Gaetano DeNapoli. A very special thank you to Dr. M, the nurses and staff at Ellis Manor, her second home, for being like family. The care, compassion and love shown to Nunzia and her family will never be forgotten. Funeral service will be Saturday at 9:00 AM at the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. Calling hours are Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral chapel.
