Percy sonny Vaughn

Percy ""Sonny"" Vaughn, Jr., 79, of Wethersfield, passed away Sunday, (November 13, 2005) at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford on March 30, 1926. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. Sonny was employed by the Town of Wethersfield and retired after 20 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Sallie (Boscarino) Vaughn and four children Deanna Greco, Sharon and her husband Nicholas Corona, David Vaughn and Steven Vaughn. He also leaves four grandchildren Sharon, Nicole, Michael and Matthew and two great grandchildren Ashley and Josh of Florida. Sonny also leaves a brother Donald and a sister Elizabeth. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, at 10:15 a.m. from D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, 66 Bolton Street, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
