Richard Sieklucki

Richard Alan Sieklucki, 79 of the Villages, Florida passed away Sunday July 3, 2022. He was born in Boston on June 28, 1943 to Alfred and Georgette Sieklucki. He was a happy, outgoing child with many friends growing up in Old Wethersfield. He attended Wethersfield schools and served 5 years in the US Air Force as a medic. He held several successful sales positions before becoming the owner of Rapid Express Trucking in Windsor Locks.He is survived by his son Jonathan (Joy) and their children Hannah and Ian, daughter Amelina Siekluska, his two stepsons, Christopher Cody (Lisa) and their sons Nicholas and Tyler, and Marc Brodeur (Karen) and his children Stephen and Alexandra.He is also survived by his sister Karen Shannon and her fiancee C. Michael Budlong and sister Susan Zeliff and her husband Gregory. He is survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Jackie Mitchell. He was predeceased by his second wife Judy Hobbs Sieklucki.Rich and Judy spent many happy years at their summer home on John’s Pond in Mashpee, MA. They eventually retired to West Palm Beach, Florida where he and Judy enjoyed an active and happy social life. He loved cars, cigars and playing golf. A memorial service will be held July 21st at 4:30 at the First Church of Christ, 250 Main Street, Wethersfield.
