

Robert C. DeGray, 80, of Hartford, beloved husband of Mary (Peluso) DeGray, passed away on Sunday (November 7, 2010). He was born in Hartford, son of the late John C. and Evelyn (Forte) DeGray. He worked as a machinist at Cushman Industries in Hartford, where he was affectionately called ""Shorty"" and later the Edmonds Manufacturing Co. in Farmington, where he retired from. Bob was a member of the Northenders Club in Hartford and belonged to Holy Trinity Church in Hartford. Besides his wife of 60 years, Bob is survived by his daughter Susan Lazarcheck and her husband David of Enfield, his brothers: Richard and his wife Kathleen, George and his wife Gail, Raymond and his wife Elsie, all of Canterbury, John of Killingly, his sisters: Eleanor Cook of Danielson, Audrey Walker of Midwest City, OK, and Janice Krauss and her husband Gene of Parma, OH, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, a brother Walter, and two sisters Frances Brunelle and Irma DeGray. Funeral Services will be Thursday (November 11, 2010) beginning at 9 a.m. at D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 53 Capitol Avenue, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel in Wethersfield.
