I was so saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing. I had the privilege of working alongside him for many years at Aetna, and I will always remember the hours around the clock we shared getting things done together. Bobby was truly a great colleague—reliable, kind, and someone who made the hard work easier with his presence.

He will be deeply missed, not only as a coworker but also as a friend. Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you and your family

I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart broke when I heard that Bobby passed away. I worked with Bobby at Aetna for many, many years. Back when coworkers were more like Family. He had a bigger than life personality, was always friendly and great to work with. I was always glad to bump into him around town and get to talk for a few minutes, reminiscing about years past or current events. He will truly be missed.

I stopped at your house a couple times and met you and, what were at the time, little ones. I can’t imagine what you’re going thru, my heart is broken..

Dear Diane, Auntie Gloria , and Family,

A fond and memorable childhood memory of Bobby was one Christmas Eve at auntie Gloria’s with lots of people, food, young ones running around ( including me) , a “ neighborhood Santa “ knocked and appeared to visit the room and get requests.
Bobby proceeded to round  up us younger ones up to say … he’s a Fake! Pull on his beard when get to see him, I dare you!!!
I’m not sure if anyone did, but it was Classic Bobby to get that ball rolling!!
I hope he makes people in heaven smile and laugh, and May he rest in peace!
I also want to mention how nice it’s was in my moms older years for you all to come down and take her to Luigi’s restaurant that Bobby loved. She greatly enjoyed those times!

When I think of my uncle, I will always remember his funny, generous, and caring soul. Growing up, I spent countless hours at his house with his family, enjoying beautiful summers together. The home was always filled with the sound of nieces and nephews running around, laughing, playing, and soaking in the joy of childhood. He showed love to each and every one of us.

Some of my favorite memories—ones I will always cherish—are of him making us food in the middle of the night while we watched movies or listened to fun music. 

I’ll never understand why your final years had to be so difficult, Uncle Bobby, but I take comfort in knowing you are free from that now. I imagine you in a place of peace and beauty.

Bobby and Diana were kind enough to invite me to one of their famous 4th of July parties and they were very welcoming and attentive.  And the food, well you know the Lombardos. They always had plenty and then some.   Dan and I will remember Bobby from his visits to JoAnne’s house and her parties. Every Lombardo is a blessing to this world.  Bobby will be missed.
