Ronald “Ron” Kehoe, went home to be with the Lord and his wife, Connie, on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born in Hartford on October 8, 1939 and was the devoted son of the late Gladys (Delisle) and Joseph Antaya. Ron worked at GMAC for his entire career, retiring in 1999 to help take care of his new grandson. In 1960, Ron met the love of his life, Constance “Connie” Rizzio and they wed on June 3, 1961. They had two children, Kevin and Lisa. Kevin, wife Julie and daughter Kate live in Heber City Utah; while Lisa, husband Dan and children, Ricky, Griffin, Skylar and Piper, reside in North Attleboro, MA. Ron and Connie loved to travel and had a beautiful love filled life together. Family was paramount to Ron as well as his Catholic religion. Ron loved meeting people and would talk to anyone who showed even the slightest bit of interest. He was often kidded that he must have talked to the most people in the world. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. His friends have said he was one in a million.
Ron leaves his beloved sister, Judy and husband Kent Baglin of McDonough GA and a sister-in-law, Gloria Lombardo of Newington. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his older brother, Richard and sister-in-law Kim, as well as Connie’s brother, Anthony Rizzio and his wife Marie; Connie’s sister, Patricia Kruse and his brother-in law, Joseph Lombardo.
Connie was the love of Ron’s life and the family quickly learned he couldn’t live without his bride. Ron entered eternal rest just 20 days after the passing of his beloved Connie. Although the family is devastated, we are confident Ron and Connie are together again.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 12 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield.
