Russell Carlton Owens, 61, of East Hartford, passed away at home on Friday, May 11, 2018. Born on May 7, 1957 in Hartford, he was the son of Carlton Owens and the late Rita (Bellovoda) Owens. Russell was the kind of person to give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He loved with all of his heart and if you were family, he protected with all of his might. Russell was an amazing human being who will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by the mother of his children, Linda Cloutier, his son David M.
