Sebastian Subby"" John Sardo

Sebastian “Subby” John Sardo, 69, of Hartford, beloved son of the late Sebastian and Cecelia (Cosmini) Sardo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born in Hartford on November 3, 1947 and was a lifelong resident. A loving uncle and great-uncle, Subby will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, John Sardo and wife Kelly, Laura Sardo, Collette Giarratano and husband Antonino, Linda Morris and husband Steve, John Coffey and Timothy Coffey and wife Jill and a special great-nephew, Jacob McGruder, as well as his sister-in-law, Collette Petitpas. He was predeceased by his brother, Carl Sardo; his sister, Sally Coffey and brother-in-law, Jack Coffey. Those who knew Subby saw his beautiful blue eyes light up every time he laughed. He had the same beautiful eyes as his mother. His infectious laugh will be missed by all his family, including his cousins and many great-nieces and nephews who spent countless holidays with Uncle Subby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday (January 23) at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Family and friends may call prior to the Mass on Monday, from 8:30-10 a.m., at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
