Susan Gaynor (Gadd)

Susan (Gadd) Gaynor, 66, of Bristol, formerly of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, (August 9, 2011) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late William O. and Dorothy (Ring) Gadd and lived in Wethersfield for most of her life. She was a graduate of Wethersfield High School and Boston University and was a retired nurse. She was a member of the Church of the Incarnation. She loved her family, travel and animals. She was unendingly generous and had exquisite taste. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Emily Gaynor of New York, NY, her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth (Beth) and Jason Tuninsky of Bristol; her grandson, Gabriel Tuninsky; her best friends, Ellen and Carl Peterson of Wethersfield and her former husband, Robert Gaynor of Wethersfield.

The funeral procession will leave Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Incarnation, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
