

Theresa Colagiovanni, of Newington, entered into eternal rest on Friday (March 31, 2006) at the Newington Health Care Center. She was born August 25, 1910 in Baranello, Italy and was the daughter of the late Domenico and Maria Iannetta. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovannantonio Colagiovanni. She came to the United States in 1955 to join her husband and lived in Newington since 1958. Mrs. Colagiovanni was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked as a seamstress for Kolodney and Myers for 20 years. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening. She was a communicant of the Holy Spirit Church in Newington. She lived a long, full and happy life surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed. Theresa was predeceased by her son, Giorgio; and a brother and a sister. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ann and her husband, Tony Di Nallo of Newington with whom she resided most of her life; her two sons, Victor Colagiovanni and his wife, Patricia of Wethersfield, Mario Colagiovanni and his wife, Elaine of Newington; and a daughter-in-law, Isabella Colagiovanni of Tufara Valle, Italy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Theresa Cuomo and her husband, Dr. Alfonso Cuomo of Italy, Adriana Vassallo and her husband, Geppino of Italy, Rosanna Todd and her husband, Dr. David Todd of New York, Anthony G. Di Nallo, John Colagiovanni, Victoria Colagiovanni, Sheryl Scudder and her husband, James and Lisa Colagiovanni; and ten great grand-children, Dr. Pierluigi Cuomo, Isabella, Giorgia and Giorgio Vassallo of Italy, John, Anna, Melissa and Clara Rose Todd, Anthony C. Di Nallo, Nicholas Agramonte; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday April 3 at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, Wethersfield. Entombment will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
