Victoria A. (sola) Leroy

Victoria A. (Sola) LeRoy, 82, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Vincent D. LeRoy, passed away on Tuesday (March 21, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on March 24, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Minnie (Armentano) Sola. Victoria was a graduate of Bulkeley High School and was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Incarnation Women?s Club. She was a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Baptismal Robe Committee at the church. She was a volunteer for many years in the ESL program at St. Augustine?s School in Hartford. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lassiter and her husband Gregory of Marshfield MA, her son, Vincent J. LeRoy and his wife Nancy of Farmington and her daughter Maryellen Civitillo and her husband James of Wethersfield; six beloved grandchildren, Kimberly and Christina LeRoy, Jessica Ingram and her husband James, Amy Lassiter and Danielle and Jennifer Civitillo; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas L. and Eleanor Sola of Old Saybrook and several aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 25th at 8:45 a.m. from the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of The Incarnation, 544 Prospect St. Wethersfield.
