Mr Kenneth Joseph Bright

BRIGHT, Kenneth Joseph “Kennie”, 83 of Southville passed away June 17, 2016. He resided in Weymouth, Digby County. He was son of the late Trafford and Josephine (Langford) Bright. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, played and sang music and did odd hobbies around his home. Kennie is survived by seven daughters Annie (Hartley), Southville, Wanetta, Peterborough; Lorita (late Don), Dalena (Joe), Peterborough; Theona (Stephen), Toronto; Nadine (Glen, Toronto; Cerena (Jordan), Peterborough. Five sons Alliston (Connie), Alberta; Bradford (Trina), Southville; Randy (Mary), Toronto, Derrick (Vallery), Halifax and Harland (Cheryl), Middleton. He is also survived by brothers, Trafford, Alvin, Alfie and sisters, Madeline, Doreen, Rosella, Caroline, forty six grandchildren, one hundred three great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Martha Cromwell Tynes, sons Michael, Kendall, David, Dean and grandson Jerry. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm in Jaynes Funeral Home, Weymouth. Funeral mass will be Wednesday 10 am in St Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Southville. Father Tom Kurudeepan officiating, cremation to follow.
