Margaret Anna Theriault Thibault

Thibault, Margaret- 77 of Ashmore, Digby Co., passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Digby General Hospital. Margaret was born and brought up in Ashmore, Digby Co., the daughter of the late Robert and Cecilia (Melanson) Theriault. In May of 1953 Margaret moved to Toronto and in 1954 married Nelson. Margaret worked at Sears for 28 years. In the 1980’s Margaret and Nelson returned to Nova Scotia. Margaret loved to dance and she enjoyed her volunteer work with the Canadian Cancer Society, which she did for 25 years. Margaret was a devoted Christian and she was actively involved with the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Plympton. Margaret is survived by her husband Nelson Joseph Thibault; brothers; Kenneth Joseph Theriault, Plympton and James Theriault, Weymouth North; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9pm Today August 16th in Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (245-2525). Funeral Mass 11am Wednesday, August 17th at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton, Father Keith Billard presiding. Interment in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Cemetery, Plympton.
