

Phyllis Leona Amero – 72 of Plympton Station passed away October 25, 2010 at Island View Terrace, Digby. Born in Cape St. Mary’s, NS. Phyllis was a daughter to the late Roy & Annie (Doucet) Doucette. Phyllis liked to crochet and enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband Raymond Amero; son, Gregory, Plympton; sisters, Anne Spinney, Cape St. Mary’s; Evelyn (George) Deveau, Mavillette; Pauline (Richard)Robicheau, Cape St. Mary’s; brothers, Paul (Jean), Norman (Donna), both from Mavillette; grandchildren; Anthony Amero, and Adrianne Amero, both from Edmonton Alberta; many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by a brother Raymond Doucette at a year and a half old. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (245-2525). Funeral service 2:00pm Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Plympton. Father Keith Billard presiding. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
