Beverly Ann Edmond

Beverly Ann Edmond (née Fonay) passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Her great strength, quiet kindness, and straightforward practicality touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dwight Edmond, and her cherished son, Darin Edmond. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Heather Kontos, and son-in-law Tom Kontos, who carry forward her spirit with love and gratitude.

Throughout her life, Beverly embraced the world with a deep connection to nature, animals, and the people she loved. She was a passionate horsewoman in her youth, finding freedom and joy in the saddle. Her garden was her sanctuary, where her green thumb brought flowers, vegetables, and beauty into bloom season after season. In the kitchen, she was a master of comfort and celebration—her home-cooked meals and homemade baked goods will be remembered with warmth and fondness by all who were lucky enough to sit at her table. Travel was a lifelong pleasure for her, allowing her to experience many cultures, indulge her passion for trying new foods, and create lasting friendships.

Beverly will be dearly missed. We take comfort in knowing that she is together with her husband, son, parents, and siblings.
