Gladys Henry Medine

A homemaker and resident of Port Allen, she died at 12:35 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home. She was 94 and a native of White Castle. Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of White Castle on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 1 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. Entombment in White Castle Mausoleum. Preceded in death by her husband, Felix Medine Sr.; parents, Bridget C. Henry and Acline Henry; and sisters, Virdivie H. Tardiff and Tula Henry. Survived by a daughter, Vera Medine Alexander; son, Felix G. "Sonny" Medine Jr. and spouse Carol Medine; sister, Buelah Henry Hymel; grandchildren, Bert Sanchez and spouse Bonnie Sanchez, Becky Gomez and spouse Wayne Gomez, Felix "Bro" Medine III and spouse Karen Medine, and Blaine Medine; great-grandchildren, Rachelle Lyons and spouse Brandon Lyons, Kayla S. Titus and spouse Tedd Titus, Mark Judd, Jessica Romero, Josh Romero, Nicholas Fumarola, Lacey G. Mistretta and spouse Bryan Mistretta, Jami G.
