Vincent Gautreaux

Vincent Paul “Noonie” Gautreaux, 88, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his residence in White Castle. He is survived by his loving wife Edna Loland Gautreaux; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Gautreaux and J.C. “Chuck” Brown; three sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas Paul and Shelly Gautreaux, Bryant Paul and Lynette Gautreaux, and Glen Anthony and Elizabeth Gautreaux, and; two sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Olano Oliver and Pat Ferriday; 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey Brown, Molly Bradford, Shandie Benson, Kasie Gautreaux, Craig Rogers, Gaven Gautreaux, Kayley Gautreaux, Josh Gautreaux, Tyler May, Lexi Gautreaux, and Lane Gautreaux; six great grandchildren, Adelaide Bradford, Amelia Bradford, Shelby Benson, Hallie Benson, Brady Brown, and Blake Brown.

Preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Templet Fontenot; father Paul X. Gautreaux; brother Warren “Buddy” Gautreaux; and sister, Rosemary “Bun” Waddell.

Pallbearers will be Gaven Gautreaux, Josh Gautreaux, Jeffrey Brown, Tyler May, Johnny Olano, Craig Sanchez, Lane Gautreaux, and Rick Bolotte.

Family would like to give a special thanks to Zeke Sanchez, and Comfort Care Hospice, especially Jennifer Stokes and Lacey Lamana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in White Castle. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle. Interment to follow in White Castle Cemetery.
