

Anthony “Bruce” Muklevicz, 77, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Bruce was born in Passaic, NJ and grew up in Paramus, NJ. He attended Our Lady of Visitation grammar school and graduated from Paramus High School in 1966. He played football and excelled in wrestling. Bruce is a graduate of Athens College Athens, Alabama, with a degree in History and a secondary education teaching credential. While at Athens, he participated in intramural sports and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity
Bruce began his career as a counselor employed by the Texas Employment Commission in El Paso, Texas. While in El Paso, his business acumen grew leading him into a long career in industrial sales.
Bruce loved music and fishing and made multiple trips to Vermont lakes and trout streams. He also loved sports and was an avid Mets & Jets fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke. He will be dearly missed.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Joseph A. Sr. and Emily (nee Mizdal) Muklevicz; and his beloved wife, Mercedes Muklevicz. He is survived by his 2 brothers, Joseph A. Muklevicz, Jr. of Camarillo, CA and Curt L. Muklevicz and his wife Barbara of Whiting, NJ; his Goddaughter, Cynthia and her husband Matt of Mission Viejo CA; his nephews, Chris and his wife Kelly of Camarillo CA, Joe and his wife Linda of Ninety Six SC; as well as grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins in California, Texas, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Arizona and Idaho.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 11:30AM to 1:00PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
On Thursday Evening, April 23rd, there will be a gathering from 7-9PM at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Avenue, Paramus 07652. On Friday, April 24th, there will be a procession from Vander Platt Memorial Home at 12:30 pm to George Washington Memorial Park, Century Road, Paramus, NJ 07652 for the Interment Service at 1:00 PM in the Bell Tower Chapel.
