Dorothy May Britton, 90, of South Toms River and formerly of Bamber Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18 at home surrounded by family. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much. Born in Forked River, she resided in Bamber Lake for many years, before moving here several years ago.She is predeceased by her husband of 42 years, the late Walter Britton in 1982.She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Ravallo & her husband Anthony of South Toms River, a grandson Anthony Ravallo Jr., & his wife Lorraine, and three greatgrandsons, Anthony Michael, Cody Tyler, & Kyle Matthew. Also surviving are a sister Myrtle Booye and a brother Norman Taylor. Dorothy is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 22, 11am to 1pm with services beginning at 1pm from the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting. Committal will be at Old Whiting Cemetery, Rt 530 Whiting. Arrangements under the direction of Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, NJ.
